Different Placenta Positions That Are Common In Pregnancy

The placenta is the large pancake-shaped organ that develops and attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. But this placenta can attach itself in different positions. Take a look at them. Posterior Placenta   When the placenta attaches itself to grow on the back of the uterine wall, it is known as the posterior placenta. This is the most common position as a fertilized egg normally attaches itself to the back of the uterine wall. Anterior Placenta   At the point when the placenta is at the front side of the uterus, it is known as the anterior placenta.
